Since the merger of the Institutes of Analytical, Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry in 1999, the Institute of Chemistry (IfC) has had a strong basis as a competitive and internationally oriented research and teaching facility.
The establishment of the NAWI GRAZ cooperation project in 2004 by the University of Graz and Graz University of Technology, which is unique in Austria, makes Graz a particularly attractive location for chemistry students. The merger expands the range of practice-oriented teaching, as the research focuses of both universities complement each other perfectly.
As the promotion of young talent is particularly important to us, we offer ambitious scientists a working environment in which they can optimally develop in research and teaching.
