Job-oriented practical training
Students have the possibility to complete a job-oriented practical training which is eligible for free choice subjects. The training must approved in advance by the head of the curricula commission for chemistry. In this context, 1.5 ECTS credits corresponds to one full-time week of employment.
Requirement
- Creditable minimum: 3 full-time weeks of job-oriented practical training (corresponds to 4.5 ECTS credits).
- Independent, study-relevant activity related to one of the modules/exam subjects of the study program at an external non-university institution.
- Practical trainings at university research institutions or centers (e.g. ACIB, RCPE, etc.) are not eligible.
Procedure for application
- Before beginning the practical training, applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks before. Applications submitted later will not be approved!
- In case of approval you will be informed by email.
Procedure for approval
In order to get credits for the completed practical training, send a certificate stamped and signed by the company stating the period of time, the actual amount of hours (hours/week) and the job description to
